ATTENDANCE POLICY

*Required for all attendees of Ravefurrest.

ENTRANCE PROCEDURE

Please have ID ready at the door. The event is meant for 18+ attendees only, no minors allowed. The venue and live music may contain mature content, strong language, and attire geared towards adults.
Upon entering the venue you will receive a wristband. Please do not take it off. If it is too tight or falls off, alert a staff member immediately.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Please practice southern hospitality as you would any other public space. Be kind to others, be considerate, and look after your fellow furry friends. We are a community! We do not tolerate racism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, or any hate speech. Any harassment, towards guests or staff - will result in you being blacklisted from attending Ravefurrest.

Any verbal or physical harassment is not allowed - if you are making someone uncomfortable, or someone tells you to "leave them alone", or tells you "no", respect their boundaries. If someone is wearing a fursuit, leash, cosplay, or similar attire, it is NOT permission to touch them. Do not hug, tackle, or poke other attendees under any circumstances.

ARTIST ETIQUETTE

Remember that the main focus of this event is enjoying the music and art! While you are there to have fun, you need to treat them with respect as well. The stage is not meant for general attendees. Only go on the stage if you are invited or asked by a staff member. No exceptions! When someone is performing, please cheer, clap, dance, and sing along! But please do not harass, belittle, or insult the performers. There is something for everyone at Ravefurrest, so please treat all genres and styles of performance with kindness and encouragement.

Please feel free to chat with the art vendors and browse the wares at your own leisure, but be aware that there might be people behind you. Consider taking a peek at the items and then coming back later. It is possible you can ask a vendor to hold an item for you. Try not to touch all merch excessively unless you are buying it. Remember that the vendors are small artists trying to make money. Some artists make art as their sole income! Do not promise to buy something and ghost them. Do not steal from vendors. This is a good way to get blacklisted from the event. Some artists may offer online stores if you want to buy something at another time.

SAFETY MEASURES

We are aware that the venue is not huge. Please be considerate of others! No crowding around the entryways, doors, and lobby area. If you are not browsing the vendors or enjoying the music, stepping outside is recommended. This helps the flow of traffic through the space.

We will have a limited supply of earplugs, masks, and hand sanitizer for attendees. For more information see here.

No guns, swords, or anything that shoots projectiles is allowed. Make sure any props or toys you bring do not resemble real weapons. Toy guns must be brightly colored and with no bullets. Toy swords cannot have a sharp edge. No water guns. Leashes cannot be long enough to cause someone to trip. Do not tug on leashes as it is a choking hazard.

We ask that attendees assist the staff as much as possible. We are a small team and cannot have eyes everywhere at all times. Again, we are a community. If there is something that is bothering you or other guests, please find security immediately and alert them. This means if you see violence, harassment, vandalism, or mischief, please turn the situation over to staff and walk away from the situation. Do not involve yourself unnecessarily in danger. The staff does not have time during the event to deal with arguments, interpersonal problems, or "drama" (unless it escalates into violence). It is in your best interest to ignore negativity and enjoy the remaining duration of the event. Please understand that the policies in place cover worst-case scenarios so staff can be prepared. If a staff member asks to see your wristband or ID, present it immediately. If you are having a communication problem with one staff member, kindly request to defer to another. Security and staff can remove anyone from the venue if they are believed to be disrupting the other guests.Don't forget - peace, love, unity, respect. You might encounter someone who has never been to a rave before. Someone might need some extra space, water, or other means of support. We aim to make the rave as fun and supportive of an environment as possible, so please bring your best vibes. PLUR!
